The 40ft pallet wide container for dry cargo shares the same external measurements as a standard 40ft container, but the internal dimensions measure approximately 4 inches (10.2cm) wider. These containers are specifically designed to accommodate Euro pallets, standardised pallets that are used for transporting goods across Europe.
A 40ft pallet wide dry cargo container can contain 23-24 Euro pallets in a single tier. Available space is maximised so choosing a pallet wide container rather than a standard container will prove more cost effective. And because the pallets fit exactly, the possibility of cargo moving or being damaged in transit is eliminated.
