A 45ft high cube reefer container, or refrigerated container, is an intermodal shipping container used to transport cargo that needs to be kept cool or frozen. The 45ft HC reefer is the very largest refrigerated container available. Its temperature control system ensures that cargo is kept at its optimum temperature, as cold as -45 Celsius if required.
Lined in steel or aluminium, with air curtains at the entrance and hermetic sealing drains in each corner for easy cleaning, cargo is transported in hygienic conditions – essential for food items such as meat, fish or fruit and pharmaceuticals – and temperature monitored throughout the journey
